“Frosted Vintage Princes” the texture and bold embellishments dominated the Badgley Mischka Bridal Fall 2015 Collection. The inspiration from old Hollywood glamour with intricate beadwork and design details that have made the name famous.
“Heavy crystal beading, precious stones and layered lace lent the collection an air of vintage glamour. Choppy layers of tulle, large silk flowers and crotched overlays add dimension to classic mermaid, ball gown and fit-and-flare silhouettes. A few highlights of the collection included a voluminous train with lace and silk starburst on the back of a simple, sleek mermaid gown, an airy tulle ball gown with an ornate cap sleeved bodice whose shimmery crystals created the appearance of chainmail, and an ultra-sophisticated lace sheath with center slit and peplum waistline. Another unique touch — the netted bubble veils worn by each model, an edgy substitute for the classic veil.”
